Whether you are visiting Hobart for the first time, a seasoned visitor or passing through whilst you travel around Australia, there is always plenty to do. From music concerts and festivals, comedy events, theatre shows and fine dining to cultural places to see there really is something for everyone. Here is a small selection of just some of the things to do in Hobart & Surrounds this July.

Fast and Furious
There’s nothing quite like a percussion concerto. Surrounded by banks of glittering hardware, the soloist flits from one instrument to the next – shaking this, hitting that, striking something else. The amazing Claire Edwardes, who has been dubbed a “sorceress of percussion”, will leave you spellbound as she throws herself, body and soul, into the Percussion Concerto by Iain Grandage, which has been specially written for her.

For full show information and to book your tickets please visit the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra website.
