Cycling
For anyone travelling Australia, the very best thing about this mass cycling event is that you don’t have to stand on the sidelines – you can join in, even if you didn’t pack a bike. The ride, organised by CyclingSA as part of its Grand Slam Challenge Series, combines 2 different loops of 50km and 100km and handily starts and finishes in the same place. There’s also the opportunity to do a mini-slam which won’t be nearly so challenging and is suitable for all abilities. You can hire a bike for the day for free from Bike SA. Multi day hire is chargeable.

Where: Willunga
When: 8am start, Sunday 19 April
Cost: Individual Rides for Non-Members cost $50 (includes route maps, first aid, lunch, snacks and mechanical help)
